Warranties & Returns
What is the return policy?
We want you to feel confident in your purchase, so we offer a straightforward return policy.
Non-prescription masks are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, as long as they are unused and in original condition. If you’re trying on masks through our “try before you buy” approach, you can return any that don’t work for you or keep the one you love.
Prescription lenses and custom-made items are not eligible for return, since they are crafted specifically to your vision needs. However, if there is an issue with your order or something doesn’t look right, our team will always work with you to make it right.
If you’re unsure about anything before ordering, we’re happy to help guide you so you get exactly what you need the first time.
Do you offer any warranties?
Yes. We stand behind the quality of our products.
All SeaVision prescription lenses and masks are covered against manufacturing defects. If you experience an issue that is due to a material or production defect, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion.
Normal wear and tear, scratches, or damage caused by improper use or care are not covered under standard warranty. We always recommend following our care instructions to keep your lenses and mask in the best condition.
We also offer optional extended warranty coverage for additional protection at an added cost. This can provide extra peace of mind beyond our standard warranty coverage.
If you ever think something isn’t right with your order, reach out to us—we’re happy to take a look and help get it resolved.
What are the additional warranties that I can purchase?
We offer two optional extended warranty plans available for purchase to give you added peace of mind.
The Scratch Warranty covers your lenses for up to one year from the date of delivery. It includes a one-time replacement of your lenses for any reason—whether that’s scratches, chips, or general wear and tear. (Please note: this does not include prescription changes.)
Our Ultimate Warranty provides full coverage for both your mask and lenses for up to one year. This allows you to remake your entire order for any reason, including fit issues or prescription changes.
Both options are designed to give you flexibility and confidence in your purchase well beyond the standard warranty.
How do I return a product?
We make returns on our non-prescription masks easy.
Simply mail the mask back to us with a note included inside your package that has your order number and clearly states “Return.” Once we receive it, our team will process your return as quickly as possible.
Our Products
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard turnaround time for an order is about 7-10 business days. However, we do offer a couple of rush services in the event that you need your mask sooner.
I had cataract surgery. Can I get lenses without prescription put into my mask?
Absolutely! You can order non-prescription lenses through our 'Use Your Own Mask' program.
What is Standard and Deluxe lens engraving?
These are personalization options that we can add to your lenses. Allowing you to etch your name or initials into the lens. The difference between the two options is the number of characters.
What is a purge valve?
A purge valve is a one-way valve that we insert into the nose pocket of your mask. It allows you to gently blow out any water that may pool into your mask without having to touch your mask.
Are SeaVision lenses glued into your mask?
No. Our dive masks and goggles contain surfaced lenses that are custom made for each dive mask or pair of goggles. We replace the entire lens with a new prescription lens. These are not bonded additions to the mask or goggles.
All prescription SeaVision lenses are produced in our state-of-the-art digital lens manufacturing laboratory that also produces lenses you may order from your optometrist for your eyeglasses.
We encourage you to watch our 'How It's Made' video to understand our process.
Do I need to prep my mask?
No, our masks are already prepped once you receive them. Please refer to the care instruction card that comes with your mask for more information.
What are the lenses made of?
Our lenses are made of a high-impact CR39 plastic material. This is to provide you with the best visual clarity and quickest turnaround time.
What if the mask doesn't fit?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer fit guarantees due to the very specific, niche nature of our product.
However, you are more than welcome to purchase masks through our 'Try Before You Buy' program.
Prescription Questions
Do you offer progressive lenses?
No, we do not offer progressive lenses. However, we do offer bifocal lenses which offer the same needs for all progressive wearers.
How do I know which lens to select?
Most people will know what type of lenses they need.
- If you look at your prescription and don't have an ADD power then you will want single vision lenses and nothing else.
If you have an ADD power, then the bifocal option would greatly benefit you. However, depending on your underwater activities, this may change.
- If you plan to only use your mask for snorkeling, then you will find zero use for a "reading area" or your ADD power. In this case, I would suggest selecting single vision to accommodate your distance prescription.
- If you are scuba diving or need to frequently read or view things such as dive watches, computers, underwater photography, etc., then I would suggest sticking with the bifocal option.
Why can't I see out of my bifocals above water?
This is normal. Because your bifocals are on the front side of your lens, we have to make a necessary adjustment to the power to accommodate for the difference of refraction on land versus in water. Resulting in your bifocals to be much stronger. As soon as you submerge, this will correct itself to your prescribed power.
My distance vision is fine, but can you help with seeing up close?
Absolutely! We offer Gauge Reader lenses that have no prescription in the upper portion and a +2.00 bifocal for reading.
